The STories
FAMILY TREE
“Family Tree” is about reaching the point where carrying a family name hurts more than walking away from it. It follows someone finally facing the shame, secrets, and ghosts they inherited, then making the choice to cut the roots before any of it gets passed down again. There’s anger in it, but underneath that is freedom, accepting that some trees are better burned than grown.
DRUNK DIAL
“Drunk Dial” takes place inside one phone call from someone whose drinking, absence, and mistakes left scars that never fully went away. The call brings everything back at once, the nights that felt endless, the resentment, and the strange realization that after all that distance, you can still hear pieces of them in yourself. By the end, the question isn’t just whether the apology is real, but whether there’s still enough hope left to forgive.
SOUL ON THE RUN
“Soul on the Run” is about leaving without knowing exactly where you’re headed, only knowing you can’t stay where you’ve been. Memories keep chasing from behind while the road keeps pulling forward, and somewhere between the fear and uncertainty is the hope that there’s still a life out there worth finding. It’s less about running away than finally moving again, following whatever light you can find through the dark.
